QC Counselor is expanding and seeking Iowa-licensed therapists to join our 11-member private practice. The ideal candidate will be professional, motivated, caring, compassionate and operate always with the good of our clients in mind. Preference for trauma-focused therapists and couples therapists.
There are two employment options for candidates:
- 1099 Independent Contractor -- for those that want the freedom of self-employment without the hassles of running their own business.
- W2 Employee -- for those that prefer this type of working relationship and have a need for employer-funded health and dental insurance.
QC Counselor has been a Quad Cities stable since 2011. We offer in-house billing support, full reception services, a newly renovated office space, a comfortable waiting room for clients with amenities, a fully furnished breakroom for staff, high speed fiber internet, and an office to decorate and furnish to your style and taste. In this role, you will be integral in providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling and behavioral therapy to our clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage with families and caregivers to support patient progress and address concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic practices.
Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted Iowa license in Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Social Work (LISW) required
- Proficient in therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Strong patient care and assessment skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and child & family counseling
- Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
