Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

Medical Assistants are medical personnel who execute administrative and clinical tasks, provide exceptional patient care, assist clinicians by taking and recording patient history, important information, scheduling appointments, and performing other clinical activities.

Responsibilities:

·      Utilize medical knowledge to take blood samples from patients.

·      Prepare testing rooms with the proper tools.

·      Walk patients through the process when inserting needles and retrieving samples.

·      Label samples for further analysis.

·      Insure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient.

·      Manage subordinate staff.

·      Manage inventory.

·      Manage patient flow.

·      Manage the support line.

·      Manage the Learning Management System (MA portion).

·      Create documents for MAs within QC Kinetix.

·      Schedule MA classes.

·      Provide and order supplies for the MA training.

·      Continue to review and make improvements to the MA training.

·      Maintain cleanliness of work area at the end of every working day

Required Skills/Abilities:

·      Ability to multi-task.

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·      Excellent bedside manner.

·      Must be a team player.

·      Must contribute for company growth by participating in Grass root marketing, outreach, digital marketing, etc.

·      Book keeping

Education and Experience:

•                Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience required.
