Growing out of a garage and into 20 locations, three regional distribution centers, local service departments, and a US-based call center takes grit. Farmers take pride in their farm. Our Service Technicians are skilled professionals responsible for providing technical sales, service and repair. By troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and selling products found on poultry farms of all sizes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on feed, water, ventilation, and electronic systems within livestock and horticulture facilities
- Adhere to all bio-security rules & regulations-for the health and safety of the animals and staff
- Identify and perform preventative maintenance issues at customer sites to avoid future operational failures
- Participate with other team members in sharing after-hours / weekend on-call rotation
- Safely travel to work on equipment in the field as well as in QC branches
- Maintain high level of cleanliness and accountability of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Assist with scheduling repair appointments with clients
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and factory instructions
- Use computer and other technologies to investigate and repair equipment, maintain records of the repair, and perform invoicing
- Complete service reports, timecards, and order parts timely and accurately
