Summary
The Electrical Technicianis responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities, all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.

Summary
The Electrical Technicianis responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities, all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using chain falls, hand tools and jacks
- Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements
- Replace, fix or repair electrical parts and accessories in line with production specifications
- Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated procedures
- Reassemble machine parts after accomplishing maintenance and repair work
- Troubleshoot electrical issues throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner
- Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently repair electrical systems
- Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down times
- Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality
- Always seek the solution that is most cost effective without compromising quality
- Troubleshoot all problems effectively, performing quality, lasting repairs
- Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed
- Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted
- Log all services and report progress to management
- Perform preventative maintenance to stay ahead of potential issues
- Assess systems and suggest modifications to prevent future issues
- Maintain all equipment in excellent working order
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all times
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
- Minimum of 3-5 years working as an Electrical Technician
- Minimum of 3-5 years working in manufacturing environment
- Strong Knowledge in troubleshooting AC/DC Voltage
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Must have strong knowledge of electrical test equipment (Multimeters, Amp Meters, Process Calibrators, etc.)
- Industrial Electrical Certificate preferred
