Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage complex project activities across our organization. In this pivotal role, the Project Manager will be responsible for refining project strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of a portfolio of projects. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans encompassing resources, timelines, and financial allocations while delivering five-star customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the New Homes Account Management team to ensure a successful community launch.
- Oversee a pipeline of residential solar and battery projects in new home communities for multiple New Home Builders from community launch through community completion.
- Manage the installation schedule by confirming the status of construction in the new homes community and scheduling a solar installation partner to complete the required scope of work.
- Ensure QCells CRM is kept up to date with ongoing project updates.
- Ensure material is ordered and delivered on time to ensure construction schedules stay on track and do not delay builders’ schedule.
- Review and process purchase orders, work orders and invoices for vendors.
- Work closely with field manager and installation partner to confirm completion of solar and battery installations and review job completion forms at each phase of installation.
- Design packages – review designs for accuracy, distribute copies of plans to builder and installation partner upon permit approval, distribute to HOA if required.
- Permits - ensure permits are submitted and approved prior to construction commencement; provide copies of permits to builder.
- Interconnection - oversee interconnection process and ensure new home projects are achieving PTO timely and help with any delays preventing application completion. Provide builder updates of interconnection and activation status upon request.
- Serve as the point of contact for all project-related communications with the new home builder team.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans. Elevate risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
- Continuously monitor project progress against goals, adapting plans and strategies to address challenges and blockages as they arise.
- Maintain and enhance comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all details are accurately captured and readily accessible.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with a minimum of 6 years’ work experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, including managing complex projects from inception to completion, ideally in the new home construction residential PV ESS renewable energy sector.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience directly managing PV & ESS projects for new home tract developments.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated expertise in developing detailed project plans using various methodologies. Ability to interpret complex flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience demonstrating excellent customer experience enhancing skills, capable of guiding peers and influencing management and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes and unparalleled customer experience.
- Exceptional prioritization and time-management abilities, focusing on delivering high-quality positive impact.
- Strong capabilities in client-facing situations and teamwork; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges.
- Hands-on experience with advanced project management tools (e.g., enterprise-level CRMs) and quality assurance and risk management familiarity.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is strongly preferred
