Duties And Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge on OSHA regulations.
- Develop and maintain written safety programs and related documents (forms, templates, etc.).
- Prepare safety reports, including internal monthly reports and external reports.
- Lead incident investigations, including facilitating root cause analysis, creating action plans, developing safety alerts, and tracking closure of corrective action items.
- Develop Job Safety Analysis, PPE Assessments, confined space procedures, lockout/alternative protective measure procedures.
- Identify and address health and safety noncompliance matters, working with the plant to provide solutions.
- Respond to regulatory requests and assessments and develop solutions for any enforcement actions.
- Assist in ISO 45001 & 14001 certifications audits.
- Enforce all environmental and safety policies in accordance with company policies.
- Assist Hazwoper team with training and emergency situations.
- Perform emergency basic life support functions, first aid, and rescue functions.
- Assist the EHS department with audits and inspections.
- Conduct crew safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations, RCA, Action Plans.
- Develop JSA, PPE Assessments, confined space procedures, lockout procedures.
- Perform emergency basic life support functions, first aid, and rescue functions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related EHS technical field (relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative).
- Experience in generating, preparing, and writing reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Presentation and training experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
