The Senior Manager of Vendor & Procurement will report to the Chief of Operations, leading our vendor management and procurement operations. This role is responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, negotiating contracts, and overseeing payments to vendors and installer partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, procurement strategy, and risk assessment in a high-growth environment. As a key member of a fast-growing team, this role offers the opportunity to influence and enhance business operations significantly.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Vendor and Procurement team which includes team members of various experience levels.
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the vetting, onboarding, and performance evaluation of vendors providing goods and services to Enfin.
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and SLAs, addressing issues to ensure service excellence.
- Conduct both internal regular vendor audits and regulatory audits to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Assess vendor risks, including financial stability, data security, and compliance.
- Implement vendor governance frameworks and risk assessment models.
- Drive initiatives to enhance transparency, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous process improvement.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Product, and Legal, to align vendor management with business needs.
- Develop and leads sourcing efforts for vendors, providing insights and recommendations on vendor-related cost and strategic sourcing.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to vendor expenditures.
- Cross collaborates with Payment Processing Team, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
- Establish and enforce controls and workflows for invoice approvals, payment reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with Finance and Treasury teams to monitor cash flow impact and payment schedules.
- Implement automation tools and process improvements to streamline payment operations.
- Manage the Internal vendor, Qcells Partner Rebate & Incentive Programs, ensuring accurate tracking, calculation, and disbursement.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Partnerships teams to align incentive structures with business goals.
- Develop audit and compliance processes to validate rebate eligibility and prevent discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related field with 10 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 6-8 years of direct vendor management experience.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and compliance expertise.
- Excellent leadership, team development, people management and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, vendor risk assessment tools, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Third party vendor management certifications or license.
- Work experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Renewable Energy industry
