Summary
In partnership with the CHRO and other executive leadership, the Sr. Director, HRBP will manage the HRBPs and Talent Development across the enterprise. This position reports to the CHRO, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is remote reporting into Irvine, CA and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 25%.

Strategic Planning
- Understands the business and develops comprehensive human capital strategies to align with business objectives.
- Partners with operational leaders to stay ahead of programs and policies for implementation to support the business.
- Utilizes EPC best practices to align HRBPs with operational/project execution excellence
- Designs department KPIs/KRAs that align with the Company’s goals to drive performance in the department and company.
- Recommends solutions to support business growth related to human capital.
- Supports organizational design activities to enable business growth and capacity building.
- In coordination with talent acquisition, understands the workforce / resource planning of operational/project execution teams and recommends solutions for effective resource planning.
- Leads change management initiatives.
- Recommends EPC HR data analytics and uses data to inform decision making based on trends.
- In partnership with Learning & Development, implements talent management strategies to support employee, manager, and leader development.
- Leads annual talent assessment/review process; high-potential identification; and other developmental programs.
- Leads annual succession planning for the enterprise.
- Supports the development and leads rotational development programs for entry and mid-career professionals.
- Leads internship development program.
- Develops proactive programs to support employee relations.
- Leads team of HRBPs to support ER activities, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Leads HRBPs to provide guidance on applicable state and federal regulations.
- Support leaders and managers with best practices for coaching and performance management.
- Coaches and supports managers and leaders to resolve conflict.
- In coordination with Total Rewards Department, supports compensation planning and implementation. Stays abreast of internal and external conditions to make compensation recommendations.
- Works with Total Rewards department to resolve employee benefits issues.
- In coordination with Total Rewards department, designs an effective craft compensation strategy.
- In coordination with HR Operations, develops effective onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Supports implementation of IRA programs for the Company.
- Understands and leads comprehensive per diem programs to support field employees.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in HR
- Experience within the EPC industry is required.
- Experience developing human capital solutions in the EPC industry.
- Experience leading talent development programs in large companies.
- Knowledgeable of the Inflation Reduction Act related to apprenticeships/prevailing wages.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Preferred experience working with ADP Payroll and Workday.
- Experience with management of craft / staff per diem programs.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, data management and their impact on HR systems.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and deep ability to understand what motivates others.
- Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize actions.
