POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Offering Manager in the Offering Development Team will support the team in managing strategies and policies to maximize the product value of Qcells' HES (Home Energy Solutions) business in conjunction with hardware (HW) products while collaborating with each related department to increase the utilization rate of Qcells' products to increase the profitability and sustainability of the business. This position will coordinate with cross-functional teams to promote hardware product strategies, collect requirements from Qcells’ HES stakeholders, and ensure alignment between sales and development teams for optimized product development and release; conduct research, support the team for planning and launching offerings related to rooftop solar, inverters, batteries, and other home electrification solutions to support the HES business and meet homeowner needs; and partner with sales, engineering, and R&D teams in HQCA and Hanwha Solutions. The onsite position is based out of our San Francisco office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supply Chain/Procurement Management: Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize procurement, and logistics strategies, driving efficiency, cost savings, and scalability by leveraging Qcells products and services.
- Vendor Management: Build and sustain strong partnerships with vendors for inverter, battery, and racking for offering programs, organize and prepare quarterly business reviews to ensure seamless communication and alignment with business goals with partners.
- Offering Program and Strategy: Manage the offering program and strategies to align Qcells HES business goals with its hardware products.
- Program Management: Lead the preparation and delivery of training materials for product launches, ensuring that all products are introduced effectively to the cross-function teams
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in residential energy solutions. Use insight to inform product development and offering strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Interface with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback on Qcells’ products and offerings. Use customer insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure offerings comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards in the residential energy sector. Stay updated on changes in regulations that may impact product offerings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in residential energy solutions (e.g., PV, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, PV installation).
- Strong understanding of residential solar systems, including PV, inverters, batteries, and other energy solutions for homeowners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and collaborate with global teams (e.g., U.S. East Coast, Korea, etc.).
- Self-starter with the ability to work well independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in residential inverter, battery, racking, or energy solutions manufacturing or installation.
- Familiarity with residential grid services, subscription-based services, or third-party ownership models.
- Experience in Supply chain management, procurement, vendor management or sales operations is a plus.
