QComp Technologies is a robotic systems integrator in the Fox Valley that serves clients throughout the United States and Canada. Our company, which is based in Greenville, provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration for clients in the flat glass, solar, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, and metals industries.
Qualifications & Experience you bring…
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (Tech School a plus)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical layouts
- High attention to detail to meet customer standards
- Previous experience with electrical assembly or mechanical assembly is required
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers (internal and external)
- Self-driven and team-minded

- Reading Electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Working efficiently with the Electrical Assembly teammates and Mechanical Assembly teammates to ensure a quality product
- Building & wiring electrical controls and panels
- Staging and wiring machinery for power up and systems testing
- Performing quality checks to meet QComp standards including point to point wiring quality checks to meet customer quality standards
- Working closely and communicating with our talented team of engineers and technicians
- Preparing systems for power up
- Assisting with the design process by red lining drawings when modifications are required
- Positioning machinery on the shop floor from supplied layout drawings
- Making adjustments to mechanical assemblies to improve performance
- Working closely with and communicating with our talented team of engineers and technicians
