TITLE: Credit Analyst
JOB FAMILY: Commercial Credit Analysis
DEPARTMENT: Credit Administration
PAY GRADE & FLSA: 5 Non - Exempt
Job Summary
The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for providing support to Commercial Lenders by performing a variety of administrative, analytical, and reporting tasks related to the management of the commercial credit portfolio. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for providing relevant, reliable, and timely service and information to all clients according to regulatory and compliance protocols and best practices in a consistent manner while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Essential Functions
Assist and support the loan officer from the inception of a loan request including, but not limited to, gathering financial information, preparing financial statement spreads, cash flow and other pertinent analysis and ordering appraisal/evaluation reports.
Assist Credit Administration with internal servicing of the portfolio by completing risk rating change documentation and performing floor plan checks/audits
Manages the portfolio tracking process, including gathering and entering data in the appropriate tracking reports, as well as reviewing and distributing monthly reports
Manages the loan committee process, including the preparation and distribution of both the loan packets and Loan Committee Agenda and minutes
Assist in completion of monthly or quarterly problem loan reports
Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external customers at all times. This includes an obligation to actively cooperate and interact with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interest of QCBT and QCRH.
Obtain, maintain, and update a thorough knowledge of internal procedures, various systems and/or web-based applications used but not limited to Signature, Sageworks, Nautilus.
Adhere to regulations for commercial loan compliance, Bank Secrecy Act Policy/Program and Procedures, HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act), Flood determination guidelines, Bank loan policy and procedures and all lending regulations.
Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.
Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to use and learn different business tools and technological solutions. Must possess proficient computer skills, ability to perform data entry with a high level of accuracy, ability to use Microsoft 365 products (most specifically Excel)
Solid understanding of various standard financial reports and could interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively which includes adjusting style and approach to provide the best experience to a wide range of clients, people and audiences.
Working Conditions
Duties are performed in a professional office environment.

The minimum hourly wage for this position is $21.00 per hour. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
