Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and relationship-focused Business Development Associate to help expand our clinical trial portfolio. This individual will play a key role in identifying and securing new study opportunities, fostering relationships with sponsors and CROs, and supporting the growth of our site network and Principal Investigators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new clinical trial opportunities through outreach to sponsors, CROs, and networking platforms.
- Support and grow relationships with industry partners to increase study awards.
- Manage study feasibility and pre-award activities, including reviewing protocols, coordinating with internal teams, and tracking site qualifications.
- Attend industry meetings, conferences, and sponsor/CRO calls to represent the site’s capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with site leadership to set business development goals and report on KPIs.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, in a clinical research setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes, sponsor/CRO dynamics, and site feasibility is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using LinkedIn, Global Data, Zymewire, or other industry databases/tools.
- Knowledge of clinical trial phases and regulatory environment.
- Passion for healthcare innovation and patient-centered research.
