This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer – Biologics to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize systems for mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations, with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Engineer vessels and systems for media and buffer preparation, ensuring integration with upstream and downstream processes.
- Provide expert support for clean utility systems, such as WFI, process gases, and vacuum systems.
- Collaborate with HVAC and facility design teams to ensure robust cleanroom design for biotech manufacturing.
- Ensure deliverables align with GMP standards and support seamless transitions from design to operational phases.
- Extensive experience in process/chemical engineering within pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture or bioreactor design and implementation.
- Expertise in vessel and system design for media and buffer make-ups, with strong knowledge of process utilities like WFI and clean gases.
- Demonstrated ability to work on high-profile, capital-intensive projects with regulatory and technical complexities.
