Responsibilities
- Plan and execute catering events from start to finish, including menu selection, logistics, and staffing.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise staff in food service management practices and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored catering solutions.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in team management and customer interaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant or hotel catering management is essential.
- Strong background in kitchen management with hands-on experience in food preparation and service.
- Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively in food handling practices and customer service protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
