Systems Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Menu Mgmt. Systems Analyst is responsible for directly and indirectly delivering efficient, effective, and high-quality technical services in a fast-paced restaurant environment while meeting established service level agreements. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and supporting database configuration within assigned business systems with a high degree of accuracy. Tasks include but are not limited to receiving and responding to requests and inquiries, determining business requirements, identifying solutions, providing database configuration, performing system maintenance and support, creating and updating documentation and application testing. May serve in an on-call rotation or provide night and/or weekend systems support as needed.

SCOPE:

Works under general direction with moderate supervision. Must have basic understanding and experience working with software systems, including but not restricted to configuration, installations, maintenance and lifecycles. Interfaces and collaborates with application vendors, internal customers and business partners, franchisees and other IT staff in order to translate specific operational requirements into application changes. Handles projects of low to moderate complexity through planning, well thought-out decision-making and time management. Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures and practices to identify the best possible course of action. Provides ongoing support of existing applications including bug fixes, performance improvements, upgrades, configuration, and application system updates.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as a liaison to external and internal customers/business partners to ensure understanding of business requirements, accurate configuration of technical products, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Researches and analyzes system requirements with reference to existing business processes and information systems.
• Develops and delivers key software methodology deliverables including vision and scope definitions, requirements and design documents, test and implementation plans.
• Participates or leads low to high complexity projects in conjunction with other business units or multi-functional teams by providing tactical input into plans and communicating and monitoring project phases and tasks.
• Collaborates with external vendors and other in-house technical staff members to ensure programming meets operational requirements and stakeholder vision. Participates with other IT members, customers, and business partners in new product reviews, tests, and pilots.
• Tests and monitors system performance; troubleshoots and resolves system failures, and plans system changes necessary to respond to changes in the computing hardware and software infrastructure. As needed, researches new applications and participates in developing business cases to support enterprise-wide software system solutions.
• Helps maintain and manage POS software database records of various types including but not limited to pricing, promotions, tax rates, and new and current store configurations.
• Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.
• Travel to restaurants or other locations, as requested (less than 10%).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: - Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Experience:

• 2 years related systems experience, preferably in a database configuration, data analysis, testing or restaurant technology support capacity.
• 1 to 2 years managing or supporting a restaurant POS software solution.
• Experience with NCRs Aloha POS and related products including Configuration Center, Aloha TakeOut, Aloha Kitchen, and Command Center is preferred.
• Database management experience with a Cloud POS database is desired.
• Experience with other supported software solutions including but not limited to OLO, Monkey Media, Paytronix and FreedomPay is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Microsofts Windows OS and office applications such as but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to work in a 100% remote environment and effectively communicate over the phone with a professional demeanor.
• A level of technical knowledge in file and database management, and operating system environments.
• Requires solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues, and data analysis. Knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and middleware is preferred. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.

Pay Range: $70,600 - $76,000
