Position Summary
QDx Pathology Services, a specialized anatomic and clinical pathology laboratory is seeking to fill a position in the Client Service department to join our expanding organization. The Client Service Representative will be responsible for client service calls, pathologist inquiries, responding to patient and client inquiries, send outs, handling returns, responding to errors or missing information requests, maintaining logs, and generating reports.
This is a full-time role onsite in Edison, NJ.
Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 6:30pm
Essential Function:
- Responsible for slide requests send-outs for second opinions.
- Generate QA of Second Opinion Reports for Pathologist Quality Assurance.
- Answer service phone calls after hours.
- Send end-of-day email of In-State Specimen Pickups
- Send-out TC/PC accounts slides (30 accounts).
- Handle returns of slides/blocks sent for second opinions.
- Manage FAXAGE queue.
- Maintain Client Errors (Incidents) Log.
- Generate genomic/oncotype testing send-outs.
- Manage Uropathology and GPP Incident Reports.
- Respond to Pathologist inquiries (inquiries relating to finalizing diagnosis, obtaining clinical history, etc.
- Attend to Cytotechnologists’ inquiries, i.e., obtaining sources, etc.
- Perform in-house retro QA.
- Order printer toner for client practices.
- Respond to all report/patient calls and all related Client Service calls.
- Function as backup receptionist.
- Maintain in-state specimen pickups calls and logs.
- Maintain GPP Patient Call Log.
- Direct patient communication for covid-19 test results and questions.
- Maintain Patient and Sales Representative Text lines.
- Act as a liaison with Sales Representatives as required.
Education, Experience and Skills required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for cooperative interpersonal working relationships with company staff, management and peers.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
1. Typical office environment.
2. Moderate noise (e.g., office with phones ringing, photocopiers, heavy personnel “traffic”), significant verbal communication due to group problem solving efforts and training.
