Embedder – Histology
- Accepts and embeds tissue cassettes that have been processed by the grossers.
- Evaluates the acceptability criteria for each specimen and checks for correct labeling, number of tissue pieces, and specimen type.
- Ensures the working area is clean and blocks are accounted for and organized.
