QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Counter Threat Engagements Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3 / 5 / 7 Support Services contract.
Duties :
- Assist the Government to coordinate, synchronize and integrate the Army’s support to the Warfighter and ensure ASCCs and Combatant Commands have timely and sustained capabilities supporting national objectives.
- Support the Army’s lead for the W-SIG, Operational Needs, Counter-IED, C-IED Bi-lateral Engagements, EOD, Biometrics, and Forensics through governance, staff synchronization, policy oversight, funding oversight / execution, and strategic communications.
- Assist the government to identify pertinent initiatives, forums and exercises during Bi-Lateral Engagements. Assist in identifying opportunities of interoperability, lead integrated planning teams, and brief leadership on the status of the Counter Threat Bi-Lateral Engagements Program and other international engagements.
- Maintain awareness of and respond to existing and emerging national security issues and changes in the strategic environment. This includes document reviews and analysis of external and internal policies, guidance, concepts, strategies, plans and requirements at the national, joint, interagency, inter-service, multi-national, service, or organizational levels; review documents provided by the Government and deliver analysis products, draft recommendations for decisions, and / or information papers in memorandum format as required.
- Prepare weekly slides, coordinate with COCOMs, Services, and Combat Theaters as required to ensure senior Army leaders have briefing materials and packets in a timely manner.
- Assist the Government to coordinate, synchronize and integrate the Army’s support to the Warfighter and ensure ASCCs and Combatant Commands have timely and sustained capabilities supporting national objectives.
- Adjust work efforts as required within the Strategic Operations branch to meet mission requirements.
- Draft meeting EXSUMs for review; and track and coordinate any meeting due outs twenty-four (24) hours post meeting.

Anticipate approximately 20% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment :
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc).
