Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler/Lift Truck Operator (LTO) to join our 3rd Shift manufacturing team in our Sponge Department. This position is fulltime, Monday through Thursday 9pm-7am. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods within the department. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse and production areas.

Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy in count and operations.

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.

Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations and organized for efficient retrieval.

Assist in staging materials for production and moving finished goods to designated areas.

Perform inspections and routine maintenance of material handling equipment.

Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, or in a similar warehouse role.

Ability to lift up to [50-75] lbs and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (hot, cold, noisy and wet).

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
