Senior Proposal Manager - Remote

QES is seeking an A/E/CSenior Proposal Managerto lead the strategic direction and partner with the technical team to develop winning strategies for compelling proposals and presentations for various aviation, utilities, and transportation programs. The Senior Proposal Manager will develop responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from opportunity assessment to proposal submittal. This position will be responsible for leading the efforts on technical writing, proposal drafting, and proposal submittal.

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong communication skills who thrives in an independent atmosphere and brings a highly proactive, self-starter approach to the role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Proposal Management

• Manage the development, writing, and submission of proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other client solicitations from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain a library of proposal templates, case studies, resumes, and project descriptions for future use
• Create and maintain the proposal schedule to ensure deadlines are met
• Lead the development of the proposal narrative that tells a good story, supported by strong technical examples and write-ups
• Write persuasively and edit text to create compelling and grammatically correct copy for proposals and branding materials, improving proposal organization, readability, completeness, and clarity
• Lead the development, preparation, coordination, and execution of presentations
• Use Salesforce to track all client interaction, business development opportunities, and related metrics
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry regulations, and company branding guidelines
• Track proposal outcomes and provide insights to improve future submissions
  
  

Marketing/Business Development

• Produce dynamic creative assets including PowerPoint presentation slides, one-sheets, flyers, email blasts, and company newsletters
• Attend pre-proposal meetings, board meetings, industry events, and conferences as an extension of the Business Development team
• Partner with Business Development team to track market developments, create strategies, implement teaming plans, and maintain partner relations
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing or Construction Management, or a related field
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in proposal writing and management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and SharePoint is a MUST
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously
  
  

Anticipated Salary Range:$110,000 - $130,000

• The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location
