What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Liaison position at QES Solutions?
We are looking for a quality liaison for only one customer currently, but could being on more, hence more hours. This would be going into the auto manufacturing facilities acting as the eyes, ears and sometimes voice for the supplier, out of state. Hours would be a 20 hour weekly base, with more hours during times of issues.
As a liaison you would be checking in with quality teams, installation areas for the part(s) and repair areas. A good liaison understands the majority of the job is relationships and building these relationships with the members of the plant that can inform you first when something happens. In doing this, please know you are a guest in their facility. All deserve respect from the front office to the person pushing the broom.
Skills needed; personality, great communications (in person, phone and email), ability to handle computer forms (not a high level computer skill but some skill) and willingness to get dirty when needed (inspecting parts).
This is a 1099 position, subcontract. No benefits, vacations, medical......... You pay taxes on your income at the end of the year (strongly suggest quarterly). Currently only a 20 hour per week position, but with more clients comes more hours.
