Inventory Control Lead

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead of Inventory Control to oversee all inventory functions within our fulfillment center. This role will also assist the operations teams with overseeing fulfillment operations, as well as managing receiving and shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all inventory control functions, including inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
• Assist operations teams with overseeing fulfillment operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
• Manage receiving and shipment processes, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with customers to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor inventory control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Perform and run all Physical inventory functions and maintain a 99.9% Inventory accuracy score
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventoryrelated issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Utilize WMS to track and report on inventory metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control or a related role, preferably in a fulfillment center or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2 plus years experience with (WHM) Synapse
• 2 Plus years experience with Microsoft Applications like Outlook, Excel, Word, ect..
• Must speak English and Spanish

Preferred NOT required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary.
• Ability to hear and understand audible signals and instructions in a noisy environment.
• Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, to safely maneuver the forklift and navigate through the facility.
