The Opportunity :
Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic investment environment? At QIC Private Equity (QPE), we have a newly created role available for a Vice President to join our San Francisco office and report directly to the Partner. You will join our close-knit and collaborative US team, where you'll have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and long-standing team members who bring years of valuable experience.
You will play a vital role in our fund and co-investment activities across private equity, growth and venture capital strategies. As part of a growing global team of 30 professionals across London, Copenhagen, Brisbane and San Francisco, you will engage in every aspect of the investment process, including, market research, manager selection, due diligence, investment report preparation, legal document review and post-investment monitoring.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contribute to mapping and monitoring the US PE / VC market, analyzing data, tracking target Managers' activities and identifying new fund formations.
- Perform research to deepen understanding of target segments, sectors and investment themes.
- Build relationships with managers, intermediaries, and investors to source and evaluate new opportunities and facilitate meetings.
- Assist in the due diligence process by gathering information, identifying gaps, and validating findings using various sources and sound judgment.
- Support QIC's internal investment governance and decision-making process.
- Represent QIC in client meetings and industry forums.
- Collaborate with the global team to ensure effective workflow and data management, including access to relevant data for pipelines, client reporting and team meetings.
