Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.
We are seeking Product Support Personnel. The Product Support Personnel are responsible for establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies as well as identifying the required infrastructures, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with integrating system engineering quantitative design characteristics with functional logistics/integrated product support elements to sustain system fielding.
- Develop and refine product support requirements to facilitate informed decisions.
- Implement and manage support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
- Knowledgeable in the implementation and execution of the twelve (12) Product Support Elements or PSE as well as Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System or FACTS and Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System or DEAMS.
- Support the development and maintenance of technical order management and maintenance activities or TOMA including assisting with the development of new technical order development strategies as well as RFI, RFP, SOW, and PWS documentation.
- Experience with establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies.
- Experience with identifying required infrastructure, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities.
- Experience with integrating system engineering quantitative design characteristics (reliability, maintainability, etc.) with the functional logistics/integrated product support elements to identify product support resources.
- Prior experience with integrating the 12 product support elements along with procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding.
- Knowledgeable in Air Force, Space Force, and Space Systems Command logistics and financial systems and tools preferred.
- Experience Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
