QinetiQ has an immediate opening for a Front End Developer supporting federal law enforcement. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience migrating legacy systems and implementing security controls as part of the DevOps process. QinetiQ has a full shop of dedicated software developers, engineers, data scientists and security professionals that this position will reside under, the Data and Technology Group. We are looking for an experienced technologist to fill this role, as well as fit within our development culture for continued growth and development.
The candidate will work with stakeholders in collecting requirements, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining core application software using HTML, CSS, and Angular framework.
- * Collaborate closely with UX/UI team members to transform designs and wireframes into polished code.
- * Ensure that applications are responsive and optimized for maximum speed and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs to deliver a seamless user experience.
- * Work alongside back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side functionality, web services, and databases.
- * Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
- * Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and industry standards.
- * Design fluid and responsive pages.
- * Establish and adhere to product style guides for a consistent user experience.
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer with a focus on Angular/TypeScript and an expert-level knowledge of front-end technologies, UX/UI, and layout aesthetics.
- * Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to write cross-browser compatible code.
- * Demonstrated ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in Angular, in particular grid controls.
- * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Requires: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more of related experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more of related experience.
Must posses an active Secret clearance, and must be willing to work at client site in Arlington, VA 5 days per week.
Experience with data analytics to include programing in python to support ML and AI applications.
