Qinetiq US is seeking an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain Manager & Materials supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) that manages the OCONUS Aerostat Surveillance program. The program leverages aerostat systems to provide persistent surveillance and detection capabilities, to the U.S. Government customer and NATO Alliance country.
Vice President of Supply Chain Manager & Materials has the responsibility for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments. Participates in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources. Reviews client solicitations received by company and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal team. Tasks include the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions, analyses of price and creation of the subcontract document.
- Responsible to monitor the subcontractor's performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoices.
- Keeps fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans and policies.
- Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations.
- Insures that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government relations.
- Monitors subcontract performance for conformance to requirements to protect the interest of the company.
- Maintains contact with Program Managers & Supply Chain managers regarding the performance of subcontract negotiation, preparation and monitoring.
- Prepares and disseminates information to appropriate employees regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.
- Requires Bachelor's degree (in Business Administration or technical field) or equivalent, additional training in contract law, and fifteen to twenty years of related (government supply chain or subcontract administration) experience.
- Requires ability to obtain/maintain NATO Secret Clearance
