Position Overview
QinetiQ Inc. is looking to hire an entry level Acceptance Test Technician to work at our production facility in Franklin, MA. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Able to work independently
- Primarily responsible for supporting in-process functional testing, and final acceptance testing. Typical product types include:
- Electro-mechanical assemblies
- Robots
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)
- Comfortable using handheld controllers and touch screens
- Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance test procedures
- Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages as required
- Retain and upload inspection records as required using SharePoint
- Document non-conformance reports and process them as necessary
- Perform Inspections with customer
- Will be required to lift 50 pounds independently
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess good technical communications skills
- Ability to problem solve and critically think
- Utilizing document management systems, ERP/MRP, and Product Life Cycle Management software
- Ability to communicate and work closely with a team
- Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of test and inspection methodology
- Experience working on electro-mechanical products
- Associates degree in a technical discipline
- Previous experience working in an AS9100 / ISO 9001 environment
