Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.

We are seeking Mid Source Selection and Acquisition Strategy Support Personnel with contracting experience and knowledge of negotiation techniques as well as devising negotiation strategies. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and skilled in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for acquisition strategy development and implementation support. This position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government Contracting Officers and contract specialists in executing various contracting actions as well as providing contracts guidance and advise.
• Support the execution of acquisition strategies by devising negotiation strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Contracting experience with FAR 8.4, 12, 13, 15, and 16.505.
• Working knowledge of negotiation techniques.
• Demonstratable skill in devising negotiation strategies to recommend to the Government Contracting Officer in resolving problems such as reducing cost, adjusting delivery schedules, and negotiating in sole source environments.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for acquisition strategy development and implementation support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Masters Degree 
• 10 years of relevant experience
