CAD Technician - Survey (Louisville and Frankfort, KY locations)
Qk4 is looking for CAD Technicians to join our Land Survey team in our KY locations. These positions work closely with Land Surveyors to produce CAD generated base drawings for property surveys and topographic surface models. We are looking for motivated individuals interested in learning and using technology to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

Located in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Georgia, we offer services in Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Water & Wastewater, Civil/Site Engineering, Construction Engineering and Inspection, Planning & Environmental, Land Survey, Land Acquisition and Native American Services.
How you will spend your day:
- Receive data collected from survey field crews to generate maps and drawings to visually communicate land surveys of all types.
- Sets up and prepares documents for review.
- Research survey records, deeds, and maps to identify property boundaries and areas subject to survey.
- Work closely with other team members and adjusts drawings/specifications in a timely manner based upon team feedback.
Successful candidates will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Vocational computer assisted technology training preferred.
- Ability to learn CAD modeling concepts and technical applications.
- Must be detail oriented, with proven ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.
- AutoCAD, Carlson Survey or Microstation software experience preferred.
