The Internal Communications Intern Role
We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and detail oriented Internal Communications Intern to join our team! In this role, you’ll support key communication initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and promote an inclusive company culture. You’ll collaborate on projects that align with our business strategy and help foster meaningful connections across the organization. Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
Our Internal communications intern will work with the team to support and, in some cases, own:
- Content Creation: Draft internal communications original content including: emails, employee stories, videos, employee newsletter, company announcements, and intranet updates, while ensuring consistent messaging and branding
- Special projects: research, conceive, and implement an end-to-end employee engagement initiative.
- Channel Management: Assist in managing and updating internal communication platforms like the company intranet and team SharePoint spaces
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Support the development and delivery of employee engagement campaigns, including knowledge challenges, town hall meetings, and on-site events.
- Metric Tracking: Help monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to readership and engagement levels.

We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Course work pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Video filming and editing skills a plus
- Self-motivation
- Comfort with learning and using digital tools
- Team player mindset with cross-cultural literacy
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail

The anticipated base hourly rate for this role is $24.00. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
