The Software Engineer Intern Role

As a Software Engineer on our Qlik AutoML team, you will play a vital role in building innovative machine learning products that empower users to extract valuable insights without needing a background in data science. You'll be part of a team responsible for the entire lifecycle of our distributed services—from development and testing to release and maintenance. Your contributions will directly shape the future of our automated machine learning solutions, while collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that integrate seamlessly across the Qlik platform.

We’re Looking For a Teammate With

• Who’s thriving to enhance the learning in delivering enterprise software or cloud SaaS solutions.
• Programming skills in Go and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• A basic understanding of software testing practices, Test Driven Development, databases, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas respectfully and work well within a team.
• A willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

The anticipated base hourly rate $25.00 per hour. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
