What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Manufacturing position at QLM Search?
QLM Search is recruiting a Plant Leader for a specialist Food & Ingredients group supporting the Food sector. Reporting to the COO this role forms part of the senior leadership team onsite and responsible for driving best in class operational performance across the business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
· Provide leadership and planning for the division improving national operations and services
· Lead and guide the operational remit of the business unit strategic/operational plans
· Manage and develop all site operations procedures
· Driving the simplification of processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of methodologies for the unit
Candidates must have come from a Food, Beverage, Bakery or B2B Ingredients background and a manufacturing and Operations background where you have managed all areas of the Plant. This business is smaller, but growing fast, part of a larger group and therefore someone with experience of supporting a growth business and its COO would be beneficial. You will have implemented enhanced standard operating procedures processes and methodologies and must have the ability to lead and motivate a team, combined with a strategic approach to implementing change to drive operating performance
