What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Operations position at QLM Search?
QLM Search is recruiting a VP Operations for a specialist Ingredients and Flavor group supporting the Food, Beverage and health/nutrition sector. Reporting to the CEO this role forms part of the senior leadership team responsible for driving best in class operational performance across the business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
· Provide leadership and planning for the division improving national operations and services
· Lead and guide the operational remit of the business unit strategic/operational plans
· Manage and develop all site operations procedures (multi site x2)
· Driving the simplification of processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of methodologies for the unit
Candidates must have come from a B2B Ingredients/Flavor background and a manufacturing and Operations background where you have managed all areas including Manufacturing and Engineering and H&S. (**please note only candidates who have operated in this B2B sector can be considered). This is high growth therefore someone with experience of supporting a high growth business and its CEO would be beneficial. You will have implemented enhanced standard operating procedures processes and methodologies and must have the ability to lead and motivate a team, combined with a strategic approach to implementing change to drive operating performance
