Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee electrical projects from start to finish.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Supervise project teams and facilitate collaboration.
- Perform quality control checks and system validations to ensure functionality and safety.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and issues and devise contingency plans.
- Monitor project budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Order equipment and materials needed for the project.
- Maintain clear and accurate project documentation and records.
Preferred Experience:
- Electrical experience, commercial, multi-family projects "Okay"
- College degree preferred but not required
Experience Level:
- 3-4 years of experience as Assistant Project Managers (AMP)
Project Types:
- Commercial work, primarily schools and airports
Project Load:
- Manage up to 4-5 projects simultaneously, ranging from $750k to $2-3 million
Collaboration:
- Work closely with a Project Engineer
Compensation:
- Up to $90k per year, with a performance-based bonus

Skills Required:
- Proficiency in performing layouts via Bluebeam
- Planning and executing projects in full
- Timely and accurate submittals
- Occasional work with electrical design
Education and Certification Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of CAD software and other electrical design tools
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and standards related to electrical engineering
