Full Job Description
QM Resorts is looking to hire a Houseman. This opportunity is a full-time position, set schedule with Wednesdays and Thursdays off, exciting employee benefits/ perks included.
As the Houseman you will be responsible for:
- Help to prepare all clean linen, towels, rags and deliver for each room to be cleaned by Housekeepers.
- Strip assigned rooms: remove all trash, dirty linen, clear fireplace, leave sofa bed open.
- Communicate every 30-45 mins with all room attendants and bring them any materials they need to complete the units cleaning.
- Transport Housekeeping crew to other properties
- Report any and all maintenance issues found in units.
- Check all storages on property and keep them stocked, organized and clean.
- Help with deep cleans (Move all furniture away from walls, lamp shades, etc. and place them back, Shampoo carpets)
- Help with laundry duties when needed.
- Clean all BBQ grills and keep them ready for guests use.
- Help with basic maintenance when finished housekeeping duties and on Maintenance tech days off. (Opportunity to be trained in maintenance)
- Help with landscaping and snow removal.
- Other duties based on property priorities.
This position reports directly to and works closely with the Resort Housekeeping Supervisor. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a HUGE plus but not required.
This opportunity is for our resort in Stateline, Nevada.
