The Deli Manager at QMart is a key role in ensuring the overall store condition complies with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws. This position oversees all aspects of food services, including store cleanliness, customer service, merchandising, loss prevention, safety, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service by identifying customer needs and managing support.
- Manage food services in accordance with Department of Health and Company Standards.
- Effectively manage and grow sales of the food service program by directing sales, promoting, merchandising, and implementing new programs.
- Plan and prepare work schedules, supervise coverage of shifts, and fill as needed.
- Assist management in calculations of food consumption and request purchases inventory.
- Analyze financial data to identify business opportunities, determine proper action plans, and increase sales.
- Manage food cost at prescribed levels following approved portions control and accounting procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- A minimum of one year of retail, fast food, or sales management experience.
- Maintain Food Handlers and Food Safety Certification.
- Ability to perform essential duties and work in various conditions.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
