ESSENTIAL DUTIES and TASKS:
· Performs research to resolve discrepancies affecting inventory accuracy.
· Has in-depth knowledge & access in 4-D/WMS System (i.e. analysis window) to effectively carryout daily responsibilities using Handheld Scanners.
· Inspecting visually and manually products to ensure they meet company standards and are made according to specifications.
· Perform inspections on random samples, identify defects, record and report issues
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.
· Able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
· Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.
· Able to operate desktop and portable computers, including access and searching through electronic databases.
· Able to bend, reach, and stretch.
· Able to apply logic and reasoning when determining how to proceed with findings or exceptions.
· Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to recognize non-conformances comparing received product to specifications.
· Ability to make decisions independently.
· 5 years dedicated Inspection, Lab Tech, or Analytical decision-making experience preferred.
· Preferred experience includes inspection experience with products used in 1 or more of the following industries: medical device, pharmaceutical, aviation, automotive, construction.
· Understands basic quality control concepts such as sampling, non-conformances, CAPA, RTV/RMA/RGA, specifications, tolerances, calibrations.
· Ability to learn and navigate IT/computer systems.
· Experience with ISO standards is a plus.
· Must follow explicit rules for decision approvals and authorized product movement.
