Senior Manager, Human Resources (HR)

ROLE SUMMARY: 


The Senior HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the company, including three (3) business segments – QMi, Riot Glass, and Campbell Corporation. This hands-on role requires a strategic but practical thinker with strong operational execution skills to develop and implement HR strategies and processes aligned with our overall business objectives. They will foster a positive employee culture, ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, and provide thought-leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.



ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


·        Lead and manage company HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits

·        Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with the company’s business plans

·        Oversee talent acquisition and selection processes, ensuring the hiring of qualified candidates to meet the company’s needs

·        Develop and implement performance management systems to set goals and drive attainment

·        Design and deliver training and dev programs to enhance employee skills and competencies

·        Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and issues promptly and effectively

·        Administer compensation and benefits in compliance with policies and legal requirements

·        Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations

·        Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

·        Build strong team relationships to foster a positive / collaborative environment



QUALIFICATIONS:


·        Proven track record of driving wide-range of HR activities, from day-to-day employee relations issues to strategic initiatives and communication

·        Demonstrated success in leading and / or supporting cultural change in a manufacturing environment

·        Hands-on experience leading recruitment activities, leveraging digital platforms and contingent recruiters to successfully identify, interview, and onboard new employees

·        Proven track record of cross-functional troubleshooting and problem solving to optimize processes and ensure employee compliance

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment

·        Ability to coach and develop new leaders on performance management techniques, including training, feedback, and troubleshooting

·        Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations

·        Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

·        Bi-lingual with Spanish as second language

·        PHR or SPHR certification a plus

 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:


·        Proficiency with applicable software such as MSOffice

·        Working proficiency with HRIS, payroll (Paycom), and related systems and tools

·        Working proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) preferred



COMPENSATION:


·        Base salary commensurate with experience

·        Eligible for Personal Performance Bonus Company-wide profit sharing

·        Fully paid employee health option and basic life insurance plus long term disability

·        401k- 100% company match up to 10% (after 1 yr.)

·        Paid Vacation
