What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator - Lending Applications position at QNBT?
Administrator of loan origination applications and ancillary systems for the institution, including mortgage processing and indirect lending. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating business systems and processes to ensure consistency and create efficiency within the bank. Supports the overall change management process for assigned solutions. Formulates systems and processes to achieve overall business strategies. Documents system architecture and maintains system specifications and designs and implements solutions including reporting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers and supports the institution’s loan and mortgage origination systems including specifications, security, and user permissions.
- Works with internal and external partners to develop, implement, document and maintain integration points between systems to support the lifecycle of accounts, including customer-facing aspects.
- Works with internal teams including Core Solutions, Deposit Operations, Loan Administration, Sales Finance, Mortgage, IT, Information Security, Business Intelligence, and PMO.
- Maintains application specifications and works with business unit partners to design the institution’s products.
- Responsible for keeping systems up to date and following existing release readiness procedures to ensure continuity for end users.
- Acts as a technical subject matter expert for assigned solutions and primary point of escalation. Works with vendors to resolve issues and ensure proper maintenance occurs.
- Ensures proper data flow between systems including data warehouse solutions and documents data flow diagrams to bank standards.
- Works closely with internal and external teammates to facilitate data processing conversions.
- Formulates recommendations for changes to systems and processes.
- Works closely with IT and Information Security teams to complete routine audits and remediate findings expeditiously.
- Supports other team members with standard administrative functions for other applications.
- Accomplishes all additional tasks as assigned.
