THE POSITION

We seek a Technical Product Manager with a strong customer focus to join our growing team. In this role, you will wear multiple hats, working at the intersection of battery algorithms, software, product development, and global customers. You will engage deeply with customers to identify gaps in product features, write clear requirements, and drive development by creating JIRA stories. Working closely with technology, software, and customer teams, you will ensure seamless execution and alignment with market needs.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who synthesizes inputs from across the organization and customers to accelerate execution and streamline deliverables. You are independent, resourceful, and skilled at handling tough customer situations while fostering productive feature discussions.

What you will be doing

  • Actively listen to customer feedback to identify product feature gaps and areas for improvement;
  • Build strong relationships with customers and effectively handle challenging discussions;
  • Facilitate feature discussions, gathering insights to align product development with customer needs;
  • Work with internal teams to synthesize organizational and customer insights into actionable plans;
  • Write detailed product requirements, PRDs, and JIRA stories based on customer and market inputs;
  • Proactively seek additional market data to complement and refine product understanding;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of features;
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with customer and business priorities;
  • Drive customer initiatives and tasks to completion with minimal supervision;
  • Act as the go-to problem-solver for customer and product challenges, navigating complex issues with creativity and composure;

the ideal candidate

  • 3-7 years of experience in product management, project management or customer advocacy role, with a strong preference for experience in the technology or automotive industries;
  • Proven ability to engage with customers, manage challenging situations, and translate feedback into product features;
  • Independent, flexible, and highly motivated to deliver impactful solutions;
  • Strong ability to synthesize diverse inputs and craft clear, actionable requirements;
  • Proven experience managing projects that involve software development, systems engineering, or hardware / software integration;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project and / or similar project management tools;
  • Ability to understand and manage technical trade-offs and project priorities.
  • It is expected that candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable education.

    COMPENSATION / LOCATION

    This position is located at Qnovo HQ office in Milpitas, CA. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
