What You'll Do :
This is a new role. Exciting to build a new department with leadership. Develop policies, standards, and still participate in projects from concept to commissioning for customers.
Lead a team to design, build, and implement advanced automated systems, including PLC and HMI programming.
Oversee project schedules, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure timely delivery.
Develop and maintain automation software standards while troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Collaborate with senior management to influence corporate policy and strategic goals.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For :
Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and 7 10 years of experience in electrical design or automation.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell ControlLogix, Fisher Roc), and a strong understanding of electrical design.
Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage teams, deliver results, and maintain client satisfaction.
Adaptability : Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationally (North America).
