JOB DESCRIPTION :
Title : Investment Business Analyst
Location : Springfield, MA / Boston, MA(Hybrid Remote)
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade flows and cash clearing processes, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. Lead requirements definition sessions ensuring that the team articulates requirements and specifications. Use the analyst skills and techniques to formulate business and system requirements. Must have a solid background in the investment management domain including asset accounting and operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to investment operations and cash clearing.
- Map out and understand end-to-end trade flow processes, including trade execution, clearing, and settlement.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the cash clearing processes.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), workflows, and process models to support the project goals.
- Liaise with technology teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis to track cash clearing processes, identify trends, and validate system outputs.
- Support testing activities, including developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
