Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing North American team. This position is based in McLean, VA, and plays a key role in expanding our business across several verticals, including defense, homeland security, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure sectors.
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for discovering, pursuing, and capturing new sales opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-growing start-up in the defense and security technology sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sell advanced CUAS products and solutions into one or more verticals, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), other Federal agencies, and law enforcement.
- Operate as a team player, sharing information and collaborating with colleagues to achieve business goals.
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new ones to expand market presence.
- Build, grow, validate, and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Drive deals to closure and upsell new capabilities to existing customers, including warranty and renewals.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance on current and emerging technologies.
- Prepare frequent reports, including sales forecasts and pursuit capture plans, to management.
- Stay up-to-date on customer requirements, contracting policies, and compliance regulations.
- Represent the company at industry-related events, including conferences and networking opportunities.
