Investor Relations Analyst

Reporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations, this role facilitates ongoing dialog between Qorvo management and the investment community. The position is actively involved in message development and is primarily responsible for coordination of investor calls and meetings, investor presentation materials, earnings conference call support, board reports, and other materials. This position researches and tracks Qorvo’s performance and ownership, peer company performance, as well as general industry trends and events.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Support executive staff in preparing for earnings release and earnings conference call script
- Partner across the organization and analyze data to prepare IR deliverables, including investor presentation materials, Board materials, internal consensus estimates and any other supplemental materials
- Build relationships across the organization, including business units and the marketing communications team to help streamline and enhance the company’s strategic communication efforts
- Oversee logistics for investor meetings (brokerage firm conferences, non-deal roadshows, ad hoc investor meetings, etc.), including the creation of investor presentation materials and coordination with internal staff and the external brokerage community regarding travel and meeting schedules, brokerage firm conference registration and related requirements
- Coordinate investor requests, participate on investor calls, and track investor discussions
- Key contributor to the successful build-out of a comprehensive shareholder targeting strategy that identifies and analyzes potential institutional investors and maintains an effective / evolving approach to shareholder outreach
- Maintain regularly updated IR documents, including an “evergreen” Q&A document, and communicate with internal subject matter experts to ensure Qorvo’s messaging efforts are current and consistent across speakers
- Conduct market and competitive analysis, as needed, and communicate to management quarterly insights, including buy/sell trends, investor style, investor geography and peer ownership
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field (MBA a plus)
- 3 years of functional experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or investment banking
- Solid financial modeling skills; e.g maintaining concensus excel model and additional financial modeling as needed
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Experience presenting to executives and department leads
- Professional demeanor and integrity. Must be able to manage sensitive information in absolute confidence and with discretion
- Technology industry experience preferred
- 10-20 days of travel per year as needed to attend investor conferences/meetings/non-deal roadshow (NDR)
