RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Senior Reliability Tech will work in the Reliability group to support reliability testing and lab operations
- Work in a laboratory environment and perform environmental test of semiconductor packages as per test plan and procedure. This involves kitting, loading, and unloading of parts.
- Perform database entry of Reliability WIP. Collect data from the respective reliability testing and report to Reliability Lab Manager.
- Perform daily audit and report lab equipment status and tool down issues.
- Perform program set up and operation of Reliability Lab Equipment including: Temperature Cycle, Temperature Humidity, HAST, HTOL, Reflow, CSAM, Autoclave and Thermal Shock.
- Understand procedures and protocols related to all aspects of Lab processing including Electrical Testing and standard ESD practices. Manage key projects as determined by manager.
- Focus on repair, maintenance, monitoring, calibration, and certification of reliability tools and equipment
- Perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on reliability equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair down equipment
- Perform equipment profile, buy-off and certification of reliability equipment and tools
- Set up and operation of Reliability Lab systems including: Temperature Cycle, Temperature Humidity, HAST, HTOL, Reflow, CSAM, Autoclave and Thermal Shock
- Perform board level set-up verification and troubleshooting according to schematics
- Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives
- Collect and analyze results from the respective reliability testing
- Product qualification, engineering, and ongoing reliability monitoring testing
- Understand procedures and protocols related to all aspects of Lab processing including Electrical Testing and standard ESD practices
- Manage key projects as determined by manager
QUALIFICATIONS:- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems related to test chambers and equipment
- Direct experience with refrigeration compressors, power supplies, DMMs, SMUs and life test ovens
- Highly motivated and be able to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 2 year AS degree in a technically related discipline
- Direct experience with Labview software and NIST accreditation is a plus
- Knowledge of Scanning Acoustic Microscopy is also highly desirable
- 6-8 years directly related experience
- This is a lab position and requires wearing lab apparel and working in a controlled environment
- Standing for long periods and lifting 35 lbs is required
