We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Coordinator to join our team. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing physical security protocols, conducting regular physical security audits, and ensuring the safety of our employees and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement physical security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Coordinate with management to manage security measures and ensure the safety of employees and assets.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential physical security breaches or threats.
- Train and supervise security staff, providing necessary instructions and support.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of security equipment like CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Maintain security-related documentation and records.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose countermeasures to mitigate identified risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security legislation and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of related experience in physical security management or a related field.
- If no bachelor's degree then the following substitutions may be considered:
- Associate's degree and 4 years of related experience.
- High School diploma and 6 years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of security systems and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
