Position Overview: This entry-level support position provides an opportunity to begin a career at QP Wealth Management. The role focuses on drafting financial plans, compiling materials for client reviews, and developing analysis that can be presented by senior professionals. The individual in this position supports the advisor team through agenda creation, data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, and plan and presentation development. Support advisors participate in calls and meetings but do not lead or provide client advice. This position offers a 1-3-year track for advancement, pending required certifications, licenses, and job performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firm Responsibilities:
o Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission, and strategy.
o Be a forward leaning and reliable teammate.
Role Responsibilities:
o Efficiently and accurately execute client services prep work, including agenda and report creation, client material distribution, ad hoc reports/analysis, AI note coordination, and additional administrative tasks.
o Support Associate Financial Advisors and Lead Advisors by creating client-ready materials as needed.
o Attend client meetings and take accurate notes. Provide recap emails following calls.
o Work with the operations team to coordinate client-related activities.
o Manage internal models and spreadsheets and support advisors with general data collection, data maintenance, and brief analysis.
o Enter client information into various systems, including financial planning and CRM software.
o Prepare draft financial plans, with help from senior colleagues. Keep plans proactively updated over time.
o Analyze client information, prepare reports, and proactively notify staff when action items are required.
o Research products, pricing, and investment services, as assigned.
Growth Responsibilities:
o Expand expertise in financial planning and familiarity with developing financial plans for clients.
o Obtain appropriate licenses and certifications required for promotion.
Qualifications
o Zero to three years of relevant experience.
o Core knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts.
o Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
o Knowledge of financial planning software, CRM systems, and fintech dashboards.
o Ability to perform basic financial analysis.
o Bachelor's degree preferred.
