Position Title: CAD Drafter
Wage: $18-$22/hour
Accelerate is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a CAD Designer position with a Architecture and Engineering (A&E) team in Overland Park, KS. 6 months contract to hire.
CAD Drafter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings
- Complete drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images
- Peer review of other designers' drawings as part of a quality control process
- Address drawing comments based on redlines from clients, project managers, engineers, and other designer's peer reviews
- Keep files and materials in orderly manner, following SSC standards
- Be a team player
CAD Drafter Requirements:
- Certification in CAD Design or Associates in CAD Design
- Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience or knowledge within the telecommunications industry is a plus, but not a requirement
- General office skills include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus
- Problem-solving skills
