Position Title : Coil Winder Trainee

Wage : $18 / hour

Shift : 1st

Hours : Monday-Friday 6am-2 : 30pm (Overtime 5-10 hours), Saturday OT 6am-11am

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Coil Winder Trainee for a company in Richmond, IL. This is a contract to hire role.

Coil Winder Trainee Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Final assembly of the transformers and enclosures
  • Attach welding terminals to coils through brazing or welding depending on work directions
  • Complete any custom requests for orders
  • Overhead crane operation

Coil Winder Trainee Requirements :

  • Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and move about all shifts
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift, pull, push
  • Will use the overhead crane as needed
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is needed
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Experience with hand and power tools preferred
  • Previous experience with brazing or welding is a plus
