Position Title : Forklift Operator
Wage : $20.00 per hour
Shift : 3rd
Hours : 10 : 00pm-6 : 00am
QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position available at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Complete an inspection of the forklift at the beginning of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for repairs needed.
Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials.
- Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to : Production Data, Safety Data, and Quality Data.
- Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Track and record units of materials handles.
Forklift Operator Requirements :
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to bend and twist.
- Must be able to push up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging or other related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience with a sit-down forklift, pallet jack, forklift or other industrial vehicles.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
